The ongoing development of skemdit is now being worked on by six employees at b_digital. And how is the software introduced to potential customers?
When introducing the new software in their companies, many new customers avail of the test phase including support. Skemdit starts with a kick-off session, and then works with a small number of users on the customer’s premises for a period of 90 days. These users then become key users in the company and can provide their colleagues with training.
“Usually, the participants in the test phase are already well trained after 30 days, so the rest of the time just comes down to fine-tuning,” adds Florian Sontowski, Project Manager of skemdit, with a smile. In the past, many companies were reluctant to digitalise their workshops due to the lack of a central tool. skemdit overcomes this hurdle.
“Once they started working with skemdit, many companies came up with new ideas all by themselves,” reports Sontowski.
The satisfaction is also borne out by the figures: in 2024, just five years after its market launch, skemdit is being used successfully in nine countries.
