For a panel builder or system integrator, can a client ever be justified in changing a project spec towards the end of a panel build? While the “customer is King”, how do panel designers/builders handle such requests, and can they mitigate such demands in a diplomatic, fair way?
Granted, these days, contractors and suppliers are already under pressure from their clients to do more for the same budget, and to do it faster. Late changes in control panel specifications are not uncommon, and indeed a panel builder’s ability (and willingness!) to handle them effectively is arguably part of what may set them apart from its competitors in terms of reliability and flexibility.
