Digging deep with efficient and sustainable motors

A Danish ventilation fans and systems manufacturer called upon an electrical motors specialist to drive the largest in its ZerAx range of axial fans.
As part of a renovation project of the Teutschenthal backfill mine in Germany, operated by GTS (Grube Teutschenthal Sicherungs GmbH & Co. KG) of the Geiger Group, Danish ventilation and fans specialist NOVENCO Building & Industry was commissioned to provide a sustainable and green solution for the extraction of the carbon dioxide in a backfill mine.
With help from Nidec Leroy-Somer, the challenge was met.
