New AC charging cables for the Chinese market

Sold exclusively through Phoenix Contact China, the new Charx connect mode 3 charging cables in accordance with the Chinese GB/T standard have been reduced to their essentials. The design of this charging connector is compact and simple, yet still offers comfortable, ergonomic handling for users of charging columns and home chargers.

Also substantiated by the charging cable’s China Quality Certification Center (CQC) certification, the charging cables with open cable ends are available in the four common performance classes, from 3.7kW to 22kW, and in various cable lengths. The silver-plated surfaces of the power and signal contacts ensure corrosion protection, efficient power transmission, and a long service life. The sealing concept creates continuous longitudinal water tightness, which prevents moisture from penetrating the charging connector or the cable.

For consistent branding of charging stations, charging connectors with individual customer logos are available upon request, either imprinted or as a UV- and weather-resistant plastic label. The mode 3 charging cables have been developed and manufactured according to IATF 16949 to meet the tough requirements of the automotive industry.
