The PPMA Total Show is returning to the NEC, Birmingham on 1st-3rd October and will see the processing and packaging machinery industry come together to showcase the latest technologies and solutions available to the industry.

The PPMA Total Show brings together PPMA (Processing and Packaging Machinery Association), Pakex (packaging) and Interphex (pharmaceuticals). The exhibition showcases the latest in processing and packaging machinery, robotics and industrial vision systems, as well as recent innovations and trends in materials, containers, packaging design and sustainability.
So far, around 450 exhibitors are confirmed, comprising over 2,500 brands. Plenty of exhibiting companies will be holding new product launches while many more will be presenting the latest technological innovations related to every aspect of the production line ranging from labelling, filling and packaging to processing, robotics, automation and industrial vision systems.
The exhibition is free to attend, and visitors will have access to a programme of seminars led by industry experts, the Enterprise Zone, as well as a speaker line-up consisting of industry experts addressing key industry issues.
The Enterprise Zone will include a series of educational features including live workshops, presentations, interactive discussions, question and answer sessions and panel debate covering key topical issues and industry trends. Networking will also be a highlight of the Zone, with dedicated meeting areas and organised activities to facilitate engagement and connection with industry peers.
The full speaker programme will be running throughout the show, delivered by a line-up of high profile and respected industry experts. Presentations and case studies will offer real examples of manufacturing best practice and excellence in processing and packaging production aimed to motivate and inspire visitors to increase efficiencies, explore new opportunities and take their businesses forward.
Sectors that the show caters for include food & beverage, pharmaceutical, building supplies and materials, pet food/pet care, cosmetics, household products, contract packers, microbrewers and distillers, and many more.
Key exhibitors at the show include ABB, igus, Reeco, Epson UK, HMK Robotics, Acrovision, Brillopak, and many more. On stand B36, Omron will make the UK debut of its flexible production system. The 60 square meter display will present a wide range of Omron’s automation and robotic solutions and showcase an end-to-end flexible automated manufacturing process, giving attendees an ambitious, in-depth look at the possibilities of the future of production.
The PPMA Group Industry Awards will be held on 1st October, recognising the best examples of innovation, smart manufacturing and entrepreneurship in the industry. Now in its eighth year, the ceremony brings together more than 300 industry professionals and influencers. Finalists will be featured and highlighted at the PPMA Total Show with entries being appraised by a judging panel made up of eight independent industry experts, ranging from academia, end-users, editors and engineers.
