Plus mini connector added to HelaCon range

HellermannTyton extended its range of HelaCon connectors with the launch of the HelaCon Plus Mini push-in wire connector.
Used for a fast, easy and reliable connection in electrical housing applications, the upgraded connector is 40% smaller than the existing HelaCon Plus series, saving valuable space for installers to work in. The HelaCon Plus Mini can be installed in both on-wall and flush mounted junction boxes, providing the ideal solution for installers working in difficult environments, such as overhead work.
The HelaCon Plus Mini represents a significant breakthrough in connectors thanks to its improved design, which allows the installer to be tool-free upon installation. As the connectors offer a low cable insertion force, where its integrated double spring holds both solid and stranded wires securely and reliably, installers can simply attach the connector without the need to use further equipment.
The improved round cable entry ports accommodate different conductor diameters, while a convenient access port at the rear of the housing allows for simple voltage testing at any time. The HelaCon Plus Mini has six different colours, making it easy to identify the connector for the number of conductors (from two to eight), while the transparent housing makes it easier to check all conductors have successfully connected.
The HelaCon Plus Mini push-in wire connector joins the HECP3-32A and HelaCon Lux connectors as part of HellermannTyton’s popular range of wire connectors.
