    Global sales of service robots reaches $12.9 billion

    Sales of service robots for professional use has increased by 32% to $9.2 billion. Logistic systems such as AGVs represent the largest fraction in the professional service robot market (41% of all units sold). The second largest category is inspection and maintenance robots (39% of all units sold). These two segments account for 80% of total market share.

    FANUC partners with WorldSkills to host inaugural Robot Systems Integration Challenge

    Taking place at WorldSkills 2019, between 22-27 August in Kazan, Russia, the Robot Systems Integration competition provided aspiring professionals under the age of 25 with the opportunity to demonstrate their skills. Representatives from France, Germany, China, and Russia travelled to Kazan to take part in the challenge, which was jointly organised between educational organisation WorldSkills, and FANUC.
