Hazardous Area Cable Glands

Weidmuller has introduced hazardous area cable glands in its Klippon range, certified according to the latest ATEX (EN 60079-0/1/7 and EN 61241-0/1) and IECEx (IEC 60079-0/1/7) standards. Suitable for armoured and non-armoured cables, the new glands can be used in Ex e (increased safety) and Ex d (flameproof) applications. Klippon cable glands complement the Klippon STB, POK and TB enclosures as a sealing and terminating device to ensure that the integrity of the enclosure. Accessories include stopping plugs, locknuts, IP washers, serrated washers, shrouds and earth tags.
