Red Range enclosures are characterised by fast mounting and easy use for cable routing as a result of their flexible pipe in-leads. In the two-component versions, the junction boxes have self-sealing, soft insertion diaphragms for tool-free assembly. Installation is also made easier thanks to their compact dimensions, and the narrow design variants are ideally suited for splitting and connecting in suspended ceilings or cable ducts. The new Q-Mini-L junction box features a narrow rectangular form and is a compact 43mm in length and 89mm in width. The IP20 enclosure is designed for ease and speed of mounting and cable entry, with eight insertion points, six of which are accessible from above and two from the floor. The Q-Mini-L also includes external mounting lugs. The enclosure design also retains resilience and achieves strain relief in accordance to DIN VDE 0606 as well as impact resistance to IK07. The Q-Mini joins the existing range of Q12 junction boxes, which are 85mm x 85mm.The range of 2K enclosures, which extend ingress protection to IP55, also now includes mini junction boxes in narrow form at 43mm in length and 89mm in width. Designed for easy installation, 2K-Mini junction boxes feature 10 insertions, including a floor insertion. For ease of access, the insertions expand up to 14mm in the sides and 10mm in the top and bottom. The 2K enclosures also include self-sealing membranes covering all 10 insertions, with no alignment or manual insertion required, saving time in installation and increasing protection. The enclosure is designed in accordance with DIN EN 60670 (VDE 0606) and also achieves IK07 impact resistance. In addition to the new 2K-Mini junction boxes, the 2K range also includes the 85mm x 85mm 2K-12, featuring 12 entry points, and the 130mm width x 85mm 2K-16, with 16 insertions. The enclosures are available in a range of colours including white, black, red, green and brown, which can be used to code specific circuits or to blend in with surrounding architecture. The Red Range can also be mounted on flammable surfaces, such as wood. As well as being fast to mount and wire, the Red Range is also a price competitive solution, ideally suited to electrical contractors on projects with close timeframes.
