EPLAN has recently helped PCE Automation take the next step in expanding its business and offering enhanced services for its customers. The company, which focuses on the design and manufacture of bespoke automation machinery, has invested in EPLAN Pro Panel licences with the associated Fluid add-ons.
Formed in 1961, PCE Automation Ltd is a supplier of automation solutions and offers a range of product handling, assembly and testing systems. With a modern industrial production facility in Suffolk, the company has a comprehensive in-house capacity for design, manufacturing, programming, servicing and commissioning.
PCE Automation aims to deliver solutions that achieve the highest levels of efficiency and long-term reliability, including manufacturing cells that seamlessly integrate within customers’ existing lines. To help achieve these ends, they have always embraced the latest cutting-edge technologies.
“We are currently in the process of transforming the way our processes are managed, so that we can work more efficiently and productively,” explained James Cook, Managing Director at PCE Automation. “We have recently won important new business with CooperVision, a leading contact lenses manufacturer, this led us to analyse the way we produce electrical and pneumatic diagrams. We felt that some of our existing processes were not as effective as we would have liked them to be and to address this issue, we decided to invest in EPLAN Pro Panel licences with the Fluid add-ons.”
