Registration for Railtex 2019 gives visitors access to a range of industry keynote speeches, project updates and technical seminars that are accredited by the CPD Certification Service, meaning they can be used by attendees and their professional bodies towards annual Continuing Professional Development.
The show promises to bring an international flavour to the Midlands, with visitors from more than 50 countries set to be in attendance. Confirmed exhibitors include Austria’s rail milling and sawing specialist Linsinger, Germany’s electronic systems solutions provider Polyrack Tech Group, Italy’s heating element technologies supplier Zoppa Industries and Taiwan’s industrial and IP network solutions provider Lantech, amongst many others from countries across the globe. With visitor registration officially open, there is a growing excitement around the industry for what Mack Brooks Exhibitions, the show’s organisers, anticipate will be one of their biggest shows in recent years.
The show provides a great platform for rail suppliers and professionals to meet, build contacts and do meaningful business within a friendly and engaging environment, ideally located in the heart of the UK. Alongside the main exhibition, the organisers have developed a varied and informative supporting programme, with some huge industry names speaking on the biggest issues surrounding the industry.
The face of UK rail is changing, with a growing demand for modern and improved systems and assets fuelling an overhaul of the country’s network. Large scale projects including the HS2 high-speed line, Crossrail 2 and Transport for the North’s £70bn masterplan, as well as extensive government aspirations for CP6, lead the way for market growth, and the scope for new business opportunities is huge.
The term ‘Digital Rail’ is one which brings much discussion around the industry, as Network Rail seeks to create more capacity on an increasingly crowded network by modernising systems and adopting new technologies and innovations to lead the industry into the digital age. Digital Rail will be placed under the microscope at Railtex 2019 as industry leaders and experts come together to discuss and explore the challenges and opportunities that this transformation can bring.
Industry professionals can pre-register now. They will receive their Visitor Badge (valid for all three show days) via email and bypass the queues on-site. Online registration is free until Tuesday 13th May. An entry fee of £20 will be payable from 14th May 2019.
